CHAIRMAN: THOBILE LAMATI
Mr. Thobile Lamati is a seasoned public service executive with over 25 years of experience, including nine years as Director-General of the Department of Employment and Labour. Under his leadership, the Department’s performance improved from 39% to 92%, and he managed entities with assets totaling R190 billion.
He played a key role in shaping labour market and economic transformation policies and represented South Africa inglobal forums such as the ILO, G20, and BRICS. He chaired the BRICS Employment Working Group and held boardpositions in institutions like the Railway Safety Regulator and the Compensation Fund. He also served on the University of the Western Cape Council, chairing its Finance Committee.
In 2019, he founded TEEZOO (Pty) Ltd, focusing on property development, advisory services, and telecommunications, where he now serves as CEO. Mr. Lamati holds a Master’s degree in Business Leadership (Finance) from UNISA’s School of Business Leadership, a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Health. His academic credentials also include executive education from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, the University of Cape Town, and Fordham University in New York.

Mr. Sivuyile Zwedala is a seasoned professional in property, banking, and investments, with over 10 years’ experience inthe financial services sector. He has built a strong track record of guiding clients toward wealth creation through strategic investments, lending solutions, and personal finance advisory.
As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Black Pride Capital, he oversees the company’s strategic direction, driving innovation while upholding a strong commitment toexcellence and client service. His expertise in property investment and financial structuring positions him as a keyleader in the company’s growth and long-term vision.
Known for his relationship-focused leadership style, Mr. Zwedala has established enduring partnerships with clients, stakeholders, and industry peers. Under his leadership, Black Pride Capital continues to deliver impactful investment solutions while contributing to economic transformation and inclusive growth in South Africa.

DIRECTOR - OPERATIONS AND FINANCE:
BAVUYISE HERMANUS CA(SA)
Mr. Bavuyise Hermanus is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with extensive experience in financial strategy,investment analysis, and asset management. He brings a strong background in corporate finance and property investment, which he leverages to drive the growth and financial sustainability of Black Pride Capital.
He has led several successful real estate investment projects, delivering consistent returns while promoting long-term value creation. His strategic insights have benefited a wide range of stakeholders, including property owners, investors, and developers. Through his leadership, he fosters a culture of professionalism and innovation, positioning Black Pride Capital as a trusted player in the real estate sector.
Mr. Hermanus possesses in-depth knowledge of the South African property market and emerging trends, enabling him to guide the company’s strategic direction and contribute to its vision of becoming a leading force in real estate investment and development.

DIRECTOR - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING:
BRIAN BALOYI
Mr. Brian Baloyi is a celebrated former professional footballer with a distinguished career spanning South Africa’s top clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs F.C. and Mamelodi Sundowns F.C., as well as the national team. He remains the only player to have captained both major clubs and the national side, earning him a respected place in South African football history.
Following his retirement from professional sport, Mr. Baloyi transitioned into business and development work. As Marketing Manager at Mamelodi Sundowns, he played apivotal role in securing key sponsorships. His entrepreneurial ventures include co-ownership of Fish & Chips and Capello Restaurant franchises, reflecting hisstrong business acumen.
He is deeply committed to youth empowerment and community development through the Brian Baloyi Family Foundation, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to addressing the challenges facing young people. He also remains actively involved in football development through his Goalkeeper Academy and the Dlala Diski program.
Mr. Baloyi brings to Black Pride Capital extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship-building within the sports and entertainment industries. He leads strategic partnerships, leveraging his network and reputation to drive growth and collaboration in these sectors.
